Raised as a crafty kid and in the performing arts such as dance and music, my first venture into the visual art world was photography. This passion grew over the next decade of studying and working in the digital marketing industry as both a freelance and in-house creative professional (aka a multimedia designer).
While working in the digital world, I always had my hands busy with mixed media projects and fell in love with experimenting in different mediums, which guided me to painting chessboards and finding ways to incorporate the geometric pattern into my wall art and now, beyond the canvas.
